"In a globalized world marked by technology and the creation of this parallel universe of the Internet, I propose a look at biology from this cybernetic era.

In my work I try to investigate this dichotomy or supposed duality between the organic and the technological, and how both coexist in a state of symbiosis, in a continuous relationship of exchange."

 

As an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary artist, Natalia Gay works with both graphic and analogue media (drawing, photography, painting) and interactive and digital media (video art, sound, interactive art). Always with a humanistic spirit, interested in different fields of knowledge such as philosophy, theology or natural sciences, and communicating this interest through artistic practice with a language marked by the poetic.
